News: Out With The Old, In With The New

Argh!

Get Busy Living, or Get Busy Dying. ~ Shawshank Redemption

Ever feel like this?

Come on, you know you have.

More than a year and a half ago, I felt like this when I released the first issue of The Biz Buzz.  Whew, that seems like a lifetime ago now!

Funny thing, I feel like this again!  ::giggle::

With growth, there is always a bit of struggle (translate: PAIN) involved.  Just this past week my baby girl was complaining about her legs hurting again.  Each time she has complained about her legs hurting, means she is in line for another growth spurt.

With growth comes some pain.  It’s inevitable.

So I should expect it right?  HA!

I must be ready for a huge growth spurt because these last couple of months have been full of struggles!

The trick is to realize that if you aren’t busy growing (living) then you are getting busy dying.  You have to keep on keeping on.  And that is exactly what I have been doing.

Get Busy Living

What does that mean exactly?

Time waits for no one.  It will continue to tick and before you know it, another day, week, month, year, or even a decade is gone and you shake your head and say, where did it go?

It has taken me a good 3+ decades to figure out that without action, there is no progress.

For so many years I was stifled by my own perfectionism.  I didn’t progress towards my goals because I needed everything to be perfect before I took action.  Took me a while to figure out that never taking action, even imperfect action, meant that I never made any progress.

Now?  Not so much!

I put it out there into the Universe, even if it’s imperfect, even if I make mistakes, even if I change my mind, I take action.  Eventually, all my action will catch up, and BAM, a goal is reached.

Taking Action

The Biz Buzz is officially 86 weeks old this week.  86 weeks of consistent information delivered to a ton of people interested in their weight control journey.

I have offered tips, tricks, mindset advice, recipes, success stories, and given you a trip into the thought process I take daily to gather more information to share with my readers.

I certainly haven’t done it perfect.  Oh my, far from that.

I tend to overextend myself at times, thinking I will have this or that ready by a certain time.  When I didn’t make it, I have apologized.  What is miraculous is that you folks are OK with me being imperfect, imagine that!

During all that time of taking imperfect action, it has helped me figure out what you really want.  Without all that experimenting with different avenues of delivering information, I would have never figured that out!

New Direction of The Biz Buzz

With the information that I have garnered by all my experimenting, I have come to some interesting conclusions:

  • You want recipes!
  • You want PICTURES of recipes!
  • You want menus!
  • You want shopping lists!

Knowing that, I have changed the format of The Biz Buzz to reflect these changes.  The highlight of the newsletter will now be about FOOD!  Healthy and real food recipes to help you on all the phases of The hCG Protocol.  I will be highlighting two recipes a week, one will be a Phase 2 recipe and the other will be alternating between Phase 3 and Phase 4 recipes.

Eventually, these recipes will turn into menus, that will lead to shopping lists, and these menus and shopping lists will be available at The hCG Shop for a nominal charge.

I will also be making the newsletter quite a bit shorter, with links that lead to The hCG Shop to finish your reading, if you should desire.

Imperfect Action

In the last few issues of The Biz Buzz, I have announced the desire to release the home-study version of Get Your Thin On in 7 Simple Steps; due to some technical difficulties, I am not able to offer it at this time but hope to have it ready by the August 15, 2012 issue of the newsletter.

In Conclusion

Hang with me peeps, I promise you to continue to take imperfect action so that I can continue to keep busy living!

Have I missed anything you might would like to see in The Biz Buzz?  If so, comment here and let me know!
