Go Back to the Beginning

Go Back to the Beginning

Above all, be true to yourself, and if you cannot put your heart in it, take yourself out of it. ~ Hardy D. Jackson

I have to laugh.

I was having a Skype conversation with a client (turned good friend, accountability buddy, kindred spirit, etc.) the other day and I was lamenting about the state of my coaching business.

Now granted, I know well and good the responsibility of that falls squarely on my shoulders, but I was having a venting session and do you know what she decided to do while I was lamenting on this or that?

She decided to coach me.

She […]

Working one on one with Biz has been enlightening.

Before I started working one on one with Biz, I struggled with what to eat/add during my P3s. I did great during P2s, but could not maintain no matter what I did. I spent countless hours searching for information on the Internet and was very frustrated because I never deviated from the plan, but I couldn’t maintain. I also had a lifelong issue with emotional eating, that had improved greatly during my various rounds but was still lurking in the shadows. Because I didn’t have a lot of weight to lose, most […]

I would definitely recommend coaching with Biz.

I started using hCG a few years ago and had great success, but after each round I would maintain for a while, then the pounds would slowly start creeping back on.   A friend told me about Biz so I signed up for the 1 on 1 coaching and was really glad I did.  Biz completely changed the way I had been doing it before and she made it much easier to get thru P2 and P3.

I looked forward to getting the daily emails filled with life lessons and the personal notes.  Biz was a […]

I feel supported and also held accountable in this relationship.

I started on my HCG journey 5 years ago in April.  I found HTA [now Get Your Thin On] toward the end of my first loss of 50 pounds, and I was helped greatly by BootCamp, especially in P3.

However, I have gained and lost that last 20 pounds several time since then, and it became progressively more difficult to make myself stick to P2.  My food choices are limited, especially protein, since I only eat poultry and eggs and the repetition on P2 as I understood my options made it […]

Alpha-Huh?

Alpha-Huh?

My method is different. I do not rush into actual work. When I get a new idea, I start at once building it up in my imagination, and make improvements and operate the device in my mind. When I have gone so far as to embody everything in my invention, every possible improvement I can think of, and when I see no fault anywhere, I put into concrete form the final product of my brain. ~ Nikola Tesla

Ever hear of Nicola Tesla?

In short, he believed that energy could be passed from one object to another without wires. He proved […]

I would like to tell you about my journey with hCG … with and without Biz.

First, without Biz … I first purchased hCG from my naturopath in 2008. I was given all the supplies I needed and a small handout with the ‘promise’ that if I followed the hCG Protocol, my body would forever change the way it handles food, but only if I used a healthy diet afterwards.

For $300, I was given that information and then no follow up.

Granted, I lost weight and was happy with the results, but then didn’t know really what a healthy diet looked like […]

Small daily improvements are the key to staggering long-term results. ~ Unknown

Many people have profoundly expressed the importance of gradual change. Dr. Martin Luther King said in his I Have a Dream speech that people would one day be judged by the content of their character rather than by the color of their skin. That change took years. He didn’t believe in forcing change instantly. He believed in a message that would move people to change.

Lyricist Bob Dylan also understood that lasting change happened gradually. From his song Blowin’ in the Wind, we learned that we may never know how […]

Develop an Attitude of Gratitude

Develop an Attitude of Gratitude

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow. ~ Melody Beattie

Another way to describe this thought is in the poem from the 1940 edition of The Rotarian entitled The Optimist:

“Life handed him a lemon,
As Life sometimes will do.
His friends looked on in pity,
Assuming he was through.
They […]
